Shipping is included in the price stated for U.S. customers regardless of location or weight. Items are sent via USPS Priority Mail or First Class Mail depending on the item. Delivery confirmation is included on Priority parcels.

International rates are as follows:
For items weighing 1 lb. or under USPS First Class International Shipping is included in the price. A single dress, blouse, slip and items such as sewing patterns & jewelry qualify. Delivery time varies but orders usually arrive with no problems within 7 - 10 days. Anything weighing over 1 lb on international orders will incur additional shipping fees calculated at the time of ordering and for the least amount of inconvenience please email before placing your order to clarify any additional charges.
Orders are sent via USPS Priority, USPS First Class domestic, USPS First Class International and USPS Global Priority. Tracking is available ONLY with USPS Global Express Priority for international orders. Please note any special mailing or addressing instructions with your order. All outgoing orders are accompanied by an email notification so you'll know your purchase is on it's way!

Here's my condition rating system and do remember all items are clean & ready to wear unless otherwise noted. You may just have to press them or hang out the wrinkles upon receipt. I have most of my inventory professionally drycleaned and do the balance of cleaning myself, primarily hand washing.

  • MINT - no notable flaws or wear, an NOS garment - "new old stock", with original tags, never worn (for example).

  • EXCELLENT - maybe 1 or 2 notable flaws, extremely light wear, well cared for, properly stored.

  • GOOD - minor signs of wear, any notable flaws are inconspicuous and not detrimental to the look & wearability of the garment.

  • FAIR - noticeable signs of wear & flaws though still conceivably wearable , possibly (I don't stock much in this category).

  • FOR STUDY OR RESTORATION - as is, significantly flawed, though could be used for study of design elements or possibly restored to wearable condition. A beaded flapper dress in need of repair & replacement beading for example.

Vintage clothing from the 40's - 70's comes with it's very own sizing issues. Sizes from these periods differ dramatically from modern sizes so special attention should be given to actual measurements provided. Though I do note them when present size labels in the garments are most times best ignored. If possible comparing a garment you may already own in a similiar style is also helpful and remember too that measurements given are exact measurements of the garment. All measurements are taken from inside the seam with the garment lying flat, buttoned or closed and doubled where applicable. Measurements given are in inches.

Shoes are measured from the insole, toe to heel, at the outsole across the ball of the foot and the heel height is also provided.

Gloves are measured across the fingers at the knuckle area and also from the tip of the middle finger to the hem.
