Description: A 50s era black, featherweight, slubbed silk dress with attractive, simple, svelte lines. This also has cut steel accented same fabric buttons on the lapels & turned up french cuffs which catch the light and sparkle like rhinestones. The dress opens in the front with tiny snaps on one side of the center placate between the collar with a small hook & eye at the waist also. Labeled with a fabric label with the maker name in script (which I can't accurately decipher). The dress is pinned to a smaller sized dress form to illustrate style and shown with a black vinyl belt (not original to the dress).
