This dress fits perfectly on the pictured dress form with the dimensions of 34 - 25 - 35(inches). These would be exact body proportions. Dress length from shoulder to hem - 46 inches. Length from waist to hem - 31 inches. The hem appears to dip a bit lower in the back which is not a flaw but rather a common design element in this particular style of dress.
Description: The ultimate sultry, slinky & alluring midnight black 1940s era dress in a soft, ultra silky rayon crepe. This dress has all the hallmarks of this era's distinctive sought after styling. It possesses hourglass lines with a nipped & darted wasp waist , fabulously draped gathers on the hips forming a V panel both front & back at the derriere area and slinky stove pipe calf length skirt with a bit of extra flounce in the back for ease of movement. It opens in the back with a smoothly working full length metal zipper. The high neck has a notched slit at the throat and the shoulders though unpadded have a double pleated effect which gives them structure. No labels.
